Read MoreI attended Prime's first part-time cohort in 2021-22, which was full of working people and busy parents who had wanted to dive into tech but had been put off by the full-time bootcamp time commitment. I had been a hairstylist for fifteen years and had absolutely zero tech experience, but had been curious about it for about five years--especially seeing how my friends in the industry were thriving financially. I liked that the program was fully online but that there were scheduled, structured classes along with flexible scheduled group work time, along with work that you did on your own schedule. The program not only sets you up for success tech-wise, but the career support and staff in general are invaluable. Between the technical training, the full-stack projects you build, the experience you get working with actual clients, and the interview and resume coaching, you really are positioned to land that first job within the first few months (or sooner--I had many cohort-mates that landed jobs while they were still in the program!). It took me about five weeks of interviewing after I graduated to receive two job offers. I accepted a position at a small software consulting agency in Minneapolis and happily celebrated my one-year anniversary at this month. The work is incredibly social and creative, and the risk was absolutely worth the reward. It's rare to leave a career of fifteen years and experience a significant increase in income with your first job in the new field, and my annual raise after one year was right around 15%! I can work from home as much or as little as I like which is a HUGE plus, I love the flexibility. If you are considering a bootcamp and want to land your first job in the Minneapolis area especially (their connections to the job market here are so valuable, although I think they would set you up for success no matter where you are located), Prime is absolutely worth the investment.... Read MoreBefore deciding to take this program, I'd been dreaming about moving into the field of Cybersecurity for quite a few years. The course exceeded all my expectations. I took the live online version. It's intense, covers all major segments of the industry, and it's very well-composed in a way that you really do gain knowledge, including very hands-on experience. There was a lot of homework (and I mean A LOT :)) I feel like during the six months in the Bootcamp I've learned more than I did in college many years ago. My previous IT experience was somewhat useful to successfully get through the material, but interestingly, almost everything we learned was actually new to me. Those who were completely new to IT/Security also did very well in class, it was nice to see how fast the guys were becoming future security professionals. The main instructor was great! Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The classes were never boring, very engaging. The teaching assistants were also awesome, with different diverse experiences in the field. Super helpful and responsive. Really enjoyed working on the four larger projects that you must finish to graduate. I even landed a good job in Cybersecurity before graduation.... Read Less

From the very beginning, the course structure and curriculum were tailored to provide hands-on learning experiences. As I delved into the world of React, the concepts I once found daunting became clearer with each week. The guidance and expertise of the instructors were invaluable, and their passion for teaching inspired me to push my boundaries and embrace new challenges fearlessly.
What truly set Nucamp apart was the sense of community that developed among learners. The collaborative nature of the course encouraged us to work together, share ideas, and support one another. We celebrated each other's victories and rallied together during moments of confusion. This supportive environment fueled my motivation and reminded me that I was not alone on this transformative journey.
Throughout the course, I was amazed by the real-world applicability of the projects we undertook. From building interactive web applications to crafting sleek and functional mobile apps with React Native, every task honed my skills and built my confidence. The sense of accomplishment upon completing each project was indescribable and instilled a newfound belief in my abilities.
Beyond the technical aspects, the course taught me the significance of version control using Git and GitHub. This invaluable skill set not only streamlined my development process but also showcased my professionalism to potential employers.
Above all, the sense of personal growth and empowerment I experienced with Nucamp was unparalleled. React and React Native, once elusive concepts, became my creative playground. The course ignited a passion for coding that drives me to explore new possibilities with every line of code I write.
In the end, Nucamp's Front-End + Mobile Development course not only nurtured my love for development but also provided me with a supportive community that feels like a second family. I now stand equipped with the tools to carve my path in the world of web and mobile development, and I owe it all to Nucamp and its phenomenal instructors.
To anyone seeking a transformative learning experience in React and React Native, I wholeheartedly recommend Nucamp. Prepare to unleash your true potential, learn alongside inspiring peers, and embark on a journey that will shape you both professionally and personally. Nucamp has been nothing short of a catalyst for my dreams, and I am forever grateful for this extraordinary adventure.
