The data curriculum includes programming in Excel, Python, R programming, JavaScript charting, HTML/CSS, API interactions, SQL, Tableau, fundamental statistics, machine learning, and more. Enjoy close collaboration with other professionals while receiving hands-on experience.
The cybersecurity curriculum offers hands-on training in networking, systems, web technologies, databases, and defensive and offensive cybersecurity.
The fintech curriculum covers Python programming, financial libraries, machine learning algorithms, Ethereum, blockchain, and more.
The digital marketing curriculum covers highly relevant skills, training students in marketing strategy fundamentals, optimizing campaigns and websites, digital advertising and automation strategy, and more. Students will get hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Wordpress.
The UX/UI course provides hands-on training in user-centric design research, design thinking, visual prototyping and wireframing, interface design, storyboarding, visual design theory, web prototyping with HTML5 and CSS, interaction design with JavaScript and jQuery, and more.
The product management curriculum teaches in-demand product management skills, starting with the essentials. Learners will master the tools to set themselves apart and deliver great products via roadmap development, backlog management, product life cycle management, A/B testing, and data analysis.
Applicants do not need prior experience to enroll, but once admitted, all learners will complete a pre-course tutorial. Columbia Engineering Boot Camps are designed for working professionals and learners who are actively pursuing a career change or advancement or looking to gain a new skill set.
Learners will benefit from a wide range of career services to be positioned for success through course completion and beyond. Services include portfolio reviews, resume and social media profile support, high-impact career events, workshops, mock interviews, and one-on-one career coaching. Successful learners will receive an Award of Completion from Columbia Engineering and will have a portfolio of projects or a variety of training applicable to professional certifications to demonstrate their mastery of the topics covered throughout their boot camp.

It is not run by Columbia university it is by Trilogy a company that finds inexperienced people to teach their courses to students who think that they will graduate with a new career. These programs are not just a waste of money because they do not teach you what they say they will, but also because the materials are outdated and instructors are totally inexperienced. 13K down the drain
I am have not yet completed Columbia's Data Science Bootcamp but I can already tell you that I made a very big mistake signing up for it. I missed the fine print that said it was being taught by instructors at Trilogy Education Services and not Columbia personnel. I am 8 weeks in and I can say that I know more than these instructors on a lot of the subjects and if you try to correct them, they get mad and band together against you. Columbia Engineering is involved in the curriculum, instructor selection, and outcomes of each of our classes, and routinely monitors the learning experience and performance of each cohort. Both Columbia Engineering and TES are truly dedicated to transforming learners' lives and aim to be fully transparent about this relationship throughout our website, the admissions process, and the course.
We understand that you are not satisfied with the instructional support you're receiving. Our Boot Camp has an intensive, multi-part vetting process for instructors, requiring a minimum of three years' experience as an active practitioner in the industry. Every instructor is vetted by Columbia Engineering and strives to facilitate a productive and collaborative environment for all participants throughout the entirety of the Boot Camp. All cohorts are recorded for quality assurance, monitoring instructor performance, and overall engagement in order to provide feedback to help instructors further develop their teaching skills.
We understand the Boot Camp's pace can be challenging. As such, our instructors and TAs are always available in addition to our free tutoring network. We're constantly looking to improve our services and appreciate your feedback.

This expectation is clearly set at the beginning and if you are able to devote your time, you'll learn A LOT. I had worked in tech for 8 years before joining this program and I was already familiar with some coding languages. My goal was to learn, get better, and get familiar with some of the widely used technologies out there. I definitely accomplished this goal with this bootcamp and right upon graduation, I accepted an offer for a new job that required practical knowledge in the specific technologies that were taught at this bootcamp. Lastly, this program is managed and run by Trilogy, who runs the same program across many other universities, and you get a certificate from Columbia Engineering.
