First of all, I have a great support system at home that allowed me to focus 100% on this course for 4 months. I was able to take a recourse to prepare me for the full-time program.
The first month was HARD. I thought I was going to give up. The assignments are fast, and I spent all of my free time studying. It was difficult not to compare where I stood to others in my class. At my toughest moment, I reached out to my Career Services Manager and my TA. They both helped encourage me and offer support when I needed them.
I would say the most important take-aways for those looking to join the bootcamp: Make sure you have a support system. Don't compare yourself to others in the class. Stay dedicated and find the motivation behind why you're doing this.
Coding Dojo has great resources throughout the course, that continue on for 6 months after you graduate. There is also an option to pay more for a yearly alumni pass.Tech Elevator

However, the perfect opportunity came to me with The Tech Academy, and I put everything I had into it. I really can't say enough great things about the experience. Great instruction. I learned a lot about a lot of different technologies. I had my ups and downs throughout the six months of the full-time program, but I ultimately walked away having learned and experienced more than I thought I would. I'd recommend this program to anyone who has even the slightest interest in it or passion for technology. Read Morei just got graduated the overall experience is 10/10 very nice bootcamp the staff are great and they just willing to help instructors are very nice and informative specially my instructor Brandt, he is such a cool person as well as a teacher, the way he explains and delivers the ideas to you is great i learned a lot from/and because of him also Brendan was cool too although he was with us only the first 3-4 weeks but he gave us lots of resources where we can learn from, Brandt did great job handling the class on his own for 8-9 weeks. for me the Curriculum was decent starting with html/css going to python and then SQL as database following that learning flask a python framework finishing with JS/typeScript and react as frontend frame work I couldn't ask for more tbh. the course wasn't hard but i would say it was above average, if you are someone who loves learning new stuff or just love learning in general and your punctual enough you will be fine because you gotta keep on working/coding/reading though out the bootcamp, you will have free time some weeks but you gotta keep it ahead don't ever fall behind once you do, it's gonna be hard to catch up also you will learn seriously a lot once i joined i didn't know that much about tech but now i have a decent knowledge which is really cool learning all of this in this short time, one more thing i want to mention is week 5-6 which is gonna be kinda the hardest week because you will be building your first app but don't worry your instructor is there to help after week 6 thing will get better specially when you will learn react, REACT will make life much easier, lastly guys you gotta love what you do and love tech in general, if you don't i am not sure if you will make, thats overall my honest review to the bootcamp and the course in general i enjoyed it, it was really fun i get to know nice ppl, also don't listen or mind bad reviews YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PUT no room for laziness guys :)... Financing wise was the hardest for me being an out of state remote student which is why I cannot continue to Immersions (Software Development) unfortunately. If you are an out of state student just be mindful or have the full tuition prepared because you cannot get the school's deferred tuition or other help if you cannot get a loan for both halves of the program. As the program is split into two parts (Coding Foundations and Software Development) you can be approved for a Climb loan for the first half and not approved for the second, leaving you with no certification or job assistance and a loan to pay back. If you're in state they have many options and resources available to help you.

Coder Foundry met all of these criteria. The class size averaged around 15 students, allowing for plenty of interaction with the two full-time instructors. They continually updated the curriculum based on valuable feedback from recruiters and hiring managers, ensuring its relevance and alignment with industry needs. The course progression commenced with building a portfolio as the foundation for establishing an online presence, followed by tackling various Javascript challenges commonly encountered during interviews to enhance programming language proficiency. Finally, the course delved into constructing at least three Full-stack .NET applications. Throughout the journey, the unwavering guidance and support from Antonio, Jacob, and Bobby proved invaluable in honing my skills within a mere 12-week timeframe.

Read MoreI loved every second of my time with The School of Code, and I was very fortunate to have been chosen for a place on their 14th bootcamp. They provided such a fantastic opportunity for networking and upskilling; it's incredible to think that we pay nothing for it. I have gone from knowing basically nothing about coding to having a firm grasp of the entire software development lifecycle. It has ignited a new passion in me, and I am eager to continue my learning journey professionally and recreationally. Everyone I met was friendly and great to work with. The coaches were highly knowledgeable and explained things clearly whilst also working hard to provide us with a positive and enjoyable experience. I never felt alone with the amount of support I had, including that of my SoC-provided mentor who was a life-saver on many occasions. SoC places great emphasis on feedback, so anything that could be improved gets better fast. After completing their bootcamp, I feel much better equipped to secure a good job where I will not only feel safe but also excel, especially with the full and constant support of their employability team and the array of employer partners whose job roles we get exclusive access to for a month. I cannot thank SoC enough.

I left the program feeling confident in my coding skills and having already accepted an offer with a starting salary nearly 60% higher than my previous job. I think NSS’s real competitive edge is 1) their wide network of employers who regularly hire from their programs and 2) the fact that they are a nonprofit. They really want you to succeed and get a great job, and they will do everything in their power to help you do it. Also, they want to do it as cheaply as possible, which is not the case with any other bootcamps I’ve seen. Great instructional teams, great career training, and great networking opportunities. This is a career launching program. Best decision of my life.... Read Less
